Moderate rains at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh

Moderate rains occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and there was nosignificant change in temperature.

The weather remained dry in most parts of the state barring Berthin in Bilaspur which,followed by Dharampur received 7 mm of rainfall, Sundernagar, Bhuntar andTheog received 4 mm of rainfall.

Manali and Keylong were coldest place in the region with minimum temperature at 13 degreesCelsius while Kalpa recorded a low of 14.8 degree, followed by Shimla 17.2 degree, Dharamsala 17. 4 degree, Palampur 20 degree, Solan 20.5 degree, Bhuntar 21 degree, Sundernagar and Nahan 22.4 degree and Una 27 degree Celsius.

The maximum temperatures remained steady and Una was hottest with a high of 37. 6 degree Celsius, followed by Sundernagar 34.7 degree, Nahan31.1 degree, Dharamsala 30.6 degree, Solan 30.2 degree, Kalpa 26 degree and Shimla 25. 1 degree Celsius.
 

The local MeT office has predicted rains or thunder showers at few places in lower, mid and higher hills over next six days from tomorrow and warned of heavy rains at some places in mid hills from June 30 to July 3.
