Several parts of Himachal Pradesh today received moderate rains as monsoon remained normal in the region even as day temperatures rose by a few notches in the hill state.
The maximum temperature rose to 34.8 deg Celsius in Una while Bhuntar and Sundernagar recorded a high of 32.1 deg and 31.6 deg, followed by Solan 28.2 deg, Nahan 27.7 deg, Dharamsala 26.2 deg and Shimla 22.1 deg C.
There was no significant change in minimum temperatures which stayed close to normal.

Sundernagar recorded a low of 21.6 deg while Bhuntar and Dharamsala recorded minimum temperatures at 20.8 deg and 20.6 deg followed by Solan and Chamba 20.2 deg, Shimla and Nahan 17.6 deg and Kalpa 13.4 deg C.
Una was wettest in the region with 48 mm rains while, Jubbarhatti and Mashobra recorded 45 mm and 39 mm of rains, followed by Dharamsala and Bhuntar 18 mm, Shimla 16 mm, Dalhousie 15 mm each and Amb 13 mm.
The local MeT office has predicted heavy rains at some places and rains and thunderstorms at many places in the state during the next 48 hours.
