Moderate to heavy rain and thundershowers occurred at few places over eastern Uttar Pradesh while the western part of the state was lashed by light to moderate rainfall.
According to the Met department here, chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms was Ghazipur 9, Mohamadabad 6 and Gaighat 5.
Rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over eastern Uttar Pradesh tomorrow, it said, adding, rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over the state on June 30 and July 1.
