Chandigarh had a high of 31.8 degree Celsius and it recorded rainfall of 20.2 mm, the Met said today.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a maximum of 33 degree Celsius while Bhiwani had a high of 31.4 degree Celsius. The maximum at Hisar was 32 degree Celsius.
Rohtak recorded a high of 32.5 degree Celsius and had 9.6 mm rains. Narnaul received rainfall of 13 mm.
In Punjab, Amritsar was the hottest with maximum temperature at 34 degree Celsius, while Ludhiana recorded 34.2 degree Celsius. Patiala had a high of 33.2 degree Celsius.
Met in its forecast said moderate to heavy rains may occur at few places in Punjab and Haryana in next two days.
