Moderate to heavy rains occurred in some parts of Himachal Pradesh today as monsoon remained normal in the state.
The mercury rose by a few notches at Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti district which recorded minimum and maximum temperatures at 19.4 degrees Celsius and 31.6 degrees Celsius.
Arki received 30 mm rains, followed by Nahan 23 mm, Shimla 20 mm, Kheri and Nadaun 18 mm, Jubbarhatti 12 mm, Bhawarna 10 mm, Manali 7 mm and Mehre and Hamirpur 6 mm rains.

Maximum day temperature dropped by a few notches and Una in Shivalik foothills was the hottest at 34.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Bhuntar 34.0 degrees Celsius, Dharamsala 28.6 degrees Celsius, Sundernagar 28.5 degrees Celsius, Solan and Manali 26.0 degrees Celsius, Nahan 25.0 degrees Celsius, Kalpa 24.8 degrees and Shimla 22.4 degrees Celsius.
Kalpa, in tribal Kinnaur district, recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 15.2 degrees Celsius. Dharamsala recorded a low of 16.2 degree Celsius, followed by Shimla and Manali 17.3 degrees Celsius.
The MeT Department has forecast heavy rains at isolated places in lower, mid and higher hills for the next two days from tomorrow.
