The 32-year-old actor said that lots of stereotypes and ideals that men try and live up to are perpetuated by the movie industry, reported Female First online.
"I feel like there is a sense of confusion, as to what men want from each other, what is expected of them and what they expect of each other," he said.
"I feel like Hollywood is responsible for a lot of the stereotypes, so to a certain degree I am in the belly of the beast. In some ways it makes it easier to see it, because you are in the factory, seeing how those archetypes are created," Gosling added.
