The famous Sri Meenakshi Amman temple here has got a modern light-weight mobile hundi that can be wheeled to any place in the shrine depending on requirement.
The TVS Group has donated the hundi made of a strong alloy, temple Executive Officer N.Naratajan said.
Describing the elegant looking hundial as more safe, he said money from the Hundial could be easily taken out when opened for counting and notes will not suffer damages.
