In a frontal attack on Gandhi family, Narendra Modi today raked up Robert Vadra's controversial land deals issue, alleging that farmers were forced to sell land at throwaway prices and that Congress gave "damad (son-in-law) power" in place of development.
Addressing a series of rallies in Haryana and Rajasthan, the BJP's PM candidate questioned why Congress was silent on the issue and asked Rahul Gandhi to explain the policies "through which you have given land to your jeejaji (brother-in-law".
He said the Congress will suffer a rout as it did after the Emergency.
