MODI Fest in Odisha's 7 towns on June 2

The first phase of the MODI (Making of Developed India) festival will begin tomorrow in seven towns of Odisha, according to the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).

The places where MODI Festival will be organised in the first phase are: Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Rajgangpur (Sundergarh), Parlakhemundi (Gajapati) and Boudh.

Though initially it was decided to organised MODI Fest in 10 townships of the state, later the organisers postponed the programme to June 23, 24 and 25 at Keonjhar, Nabarangpur and Rayagada.

The programmes would be conducted in four different phases to highlight the achievement of the NDA government's last three years.
 

This apart, the Central government has also taken up 'Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Bikas programme' to highlight the BJP led NDA government's success. While there would be 30 programmes under MODI Festival, 45 others to mark "Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Bikas', sources said.
