Forward Bloc today accused the Narendra Modi government of having failed to fulfil the promises made by BJP before 2014 polls as the country is hit by soaring prices and growing unemployment.
"The BJP-led NDA government has failed to fulfil the promises made by Narendra Modi during campaigning for the last Lok Sabha election," Forward Bloc general secretary Debabrata Biswas said while inaugurating a three-day national workshop of the party here.
Unemployment is increasing, prices of all essential commodities are skyrocketing, public sector units are being privatised and farmers are committing suicide, Biswas said.
