As Narendra Modi Government completed 100 days in power, Congress today accused it of promoting divisive politics with "full blast" and "communalisation" of electorate without any check.

Alleging that the NDA government has failed on three main thrusts of BJP's poll campaign - price rise, corruption and law and order - Congress leader Ambika Soni said the Prime Minister has changed his agenda.

"He has certainly changed his agenda. When they (BJP) wanted to remove the UPA from power, what was their main thrust? The main thrust was corruption and rising prices. They built their campaign on this. But prices have in fact gone up and no concrete step has been taken on corruption front also," she said.

Soni said law and order has worsened because social tensions have increased and "unfortunately divisive politics and communalisation or polarisation of electorate is going on with full blast without any check."

She said, "If law and order was bad, it has become worse because communalism has been added to those factors which are causing social tensions."

"And the Prime Minister is totally silent on that," she told reporters here.

"Look at the atmosphere in the country today. Look at the whole of UP...The thrust is to divide, divisive politics. Look at the MPs of BJP. Look at the MP, who is being made the campaign in charge for by-elections in UP. What is his track record," she questioned.

Congress has been criticising BJP for choosing controversial Hinduvta face Yogi Adityanath to steer its campaign for the September 13 bypolls in Uttar Pradesh, saying the ruling party wants to create an "atmosphere of communalism and tension".
