Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today described Narendra Modi government's completion of one year in office as "nothing but wastage of time".

"I do not see any development work being accomplished during one year of NDA government in power..." he said.

Slamming the Narendra Modi government, Kumar said, "Achhe din" of citizens never came.
"Narendra Modi had promised to provide Rs 15-20 lakh to every citizen from the black money that would be brought back to the country but what to talk much about that amount as even a sum of Rs 15,000-20,000 could not make it to the account of masses," he said sarcastically.

On Bihar, Kumar attacked BJP leaders for "cursing" him "day and night" and acting in a similar way by making daily promises to win their votes in coming state election.
"People will come to you to take you for a ride by making false promises but you need to be alert," he said at the gathering.
Kumar said despite the BJP "propaganda" against him he was spending time in welfare of the people and would continue to do so in the future.
He reminded the gathering how Bihar which attracted bad name earlier has changed its image now and people everywhere looked at its citizens with respect.
