Modi has promised building Ram Temple, will campaign if he

A seer today claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought two years' time for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, failing which they would launch a campaign.

"Discussions have been held with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard and he has sought two years' time," Mahant of Akhil Bhartiya Digambar Akhara Suresh Das told reporters here.

He said that if the Prime Minister fails to get the temple constructed during this period, then seers and saints would launch a campaign for the construction of the temple.

He said that the high court had ruled in their favour and that the Supreme Court ruling would also be favourable.
 

Reacting to Modi's statement on the Dadri incident, Mahant Satyendra Das of Ram Janmbhoomi said that it is the responsibility of the Prime Minister to ensure such incident do not take place in the country.

He said that if unfortunately any such incident occur then he should express grief.

Satyendra Das said that the incidents of cow slaughter in the country would only stop when cow was declared as the national animal, and added that cow meat should neither be consumed nor sold.

Mahant of Hanuman Ghari Dharmadas attacked the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh and alleged that riots were being perpetrated in the state at the behest of the ruling party.

He claimed that SP would be ousted from power in the next assembly elections and it would never come back.
