Making light of Narendra Modi's prime ministerial ambition, senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh today said many leaders including Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav are nursing a desire for the top job.
"There are many leaders in the country who want to become prime minister and at forefront among them is Narendra Modi," Digvijay told reporters at his residence here.
He said among leaders aspiring for the Prime Minister's chair are Mulayam Singh Yadav, Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha and her Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal.

Rebutting Modi's jibe that Sonia Gandhi refrained from naming Rahul as Congress' prime ministerial nominee as she did not want to "sacrifice" his political career, Digvijay said, "Modi can never understand a mother's love".
