BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is likely to visit West Bengal in March-April for Lok Sabha campaign in the state, a senior state BJP leader said.

"Narendra Modi will be coming to West Bengal for campaign. The date has not been finalised yet. But it is likely that by the end of this month or in April Modiji will visit the state for Lok Sabha poll campaign," state BJP President Rahul Sinha said.

Sinha, however, said the proposed rally of Modi on the lines of the February five Brigade Parade Ground rally in North Bengal will not take place as of now.

Modi debuted in West Bengal with 'Jan Chetna Sabha' where senior BJP leaders Shahnawaz Hussain, Shakeel Ansari, Varun Gandhi and Tapan Sikdar were present.
