Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today released two music albums of poems penned by freedom fighter Veer Savarkar during his jail term in Andaman.
The BJP's prime ministerial candidate released two albums 'Swatantrate Bhagwati' and 'Savarkar Ni Amar Rachnao', a statement issued by state information department said.
On the occasion, Modi paid rich tributes to Savarkar and praised him for his patriotism.
"Veer Savarkar's literary work was a clarion call to free India from the British," Modi said adding he sacrificed everything and devoted himself to the sole cause of giving freedom to India.
