Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a series of multilaterals next month including G-20 in Australia and SAARC in Kathmandu as well as hold bilateral meetings with various top leaders.

The Prime Minister will first travel to Myanmar capital Nay Pyi Taw for East Asia Summit (EAS) on November 12-13 from where he will go to Brisbane for G-20 on November 15-16.

From Brisbane, Modi will travel to Canberra to hold a bilateral meeting with his Australian counterpart Tony Abbott on November 18. This will be second meeting between the two leaders after Abbott visited India last month during which the two countries inked the civil nuclear cooperation agreement.

Modi, who will be the first Indian prime minister to visit Australia since Rajiv Gandhi in 1986, will deliver an address to a joint sitting of federal parliament, according to officials.

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit Nepal to attend SAARC Summit on November 26. Significantly, Modi had invited all the SAARC leaders for his swearing-in ceremony here on May 26.
