Initially, it was expected that Chandrababu and Kalyan would join Modi in all public meetings, but the TDP chief would not attend the Nizamabad and Karimnagar meetings, since he would be campaigning for his party in Chittoor district.
"Because of time constraints, Chandrababu will be attending only meetings at Mahbubnagar and Hyderabad," TDP MP Y Satyanarayana Chowdary said.
BJP national spokesman Prakash Javadekar said Modi and Chandrababu would also attend similar rallies in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions as well in the first week of May.
"Since polling in Andhra Pradesh is scheduled for May 7, they will address meetings in the first week," he added.
Meanwhile, TDP launched a new initiative under which people could give a "missed call" on the phone number 90145-90145 to know about manifestos and programmes of the TDP-BJP combine.
