Narendra Modi to lay foundation stone for new BJP office on Aug 18

New office will be equipped with modern technological facilities to link the headquarters with the party units in states and districts

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to lay the foundation stone of the new BJP headquarters at Deen Dayal Upadhyay marg on August 18.

The new office will take over two years to be built and be equipped with modern technological facilities to link the headquarters with the party units in states and districts.

It will be spread across two acres and bigger than the current office at Ashoka Road.

Official sources said the new building will have three parts with two sides having three storeys each and housing offices of the party office bearers. One side will have offices of various party wings.
 
The middle section is likely to have seven storeys, with each floor having facilities like conference halls, research rooms, library and studios for live telecast.
