BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today won Vadodara Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 5,70,128 votes.
"We have declared Narendra Modi of BJP as winner from Vadodara parliamentary constituency," District Collector and Returning Officer Vinod Rao told PTI.
Modi secured 8,45,464 votes out of the total 11.63 lakh votes polled in Vadodara.

In the constituency, over 18,000 people voted for the 'None of The Above' (NOTA) option.
There was the highest ever 70.57 per cent polling in Vadodara, with the expectations that people of the city will elect Prime Minister from the constituency.
In the 2009 elections, BJP's Balu Shukla had won the constituency by a margin of 1.36 lakh votes.
"This is the highest ever margin by which any leader has won the Vadodara seat and we expect that this would be the highest margin than any winning candidate from any constituency of the country in the 2014 elections," a local BJP leader said.
