Mohanlal said more youths should join the Territorial Army and he is honoured to be a part of this event.
"It is a great honour for me," the actor said.
On his arrival at the battalion, Lal was received ceremonially by the officers of Territorial Army.
The actor also played a friendly football match with the Territorial Army personnel.
