Mohinder appointed electricity department watchdog in Punjab

The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC) has appointed Mohinder Singh as Ombudsman of the electricity department.

Romila Dubey, PSERC chairperson, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Singh at a simple function here today.

Singh, a 1984 batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Services, retired as Principal Accountant General, Haryana, on May 31, 2014, an official spokesman said.

Singh has more than seven years of experience in Power sector, the spokesman said.
