Mohun Bagan today got in touch with the All India Football Federation (AIFF), expressing "deep concern" about the standard of refereeing in the ongoing I-League.
Mohun Bagan president Swapan Sadhan Bose spoke to AIFF chief Praful Patel, and expressed "deep concern about the deteriorating standard" of refereeing in the league, saying teams have suffered because of that.
The Kolkata club is leading the table in the 11-team league.
"A letter in this regard has also been sent to All India Football Federation, copy of which was also marked to Mr Kushal Das, General Secretary, AIFF and Mr Sunando Dhar, CEO- I League, AIFF," the club said in a statement.
