Tomorrow's return leg derby between Mohun Bagan and East Bengal will see a new high in I-League with the former team offering a hospitality zone that will spread out both maach (fish) and mishti (sweets) to go with intense football mania.

Taking a cue from the highly successful Indian Super League, the host team Mohun Bagan have introduced a hospitality zone of about 400 seats in the middle tier of the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan where the best of Bengali food will be served, something that was once limited to cricketing venues.

The menu includes the mouthwatering fish fry (fried bhetki), sandwiches (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) and the famous sandesh alongwith coffee, while the organisers will also distribute roses to welcome the spectators at the entrance.

"We have always looked forward to new and enterprising activities when we get to host this big game in Indian football. As always, this year, we started this new promotional activity with an effort to reach to the fans and showcase the intensity of the derby," Mohun Bagan director Debasish Dutta has said on the I-League website.

"The introduction of the family block has reaped benefits as the ticket demands have been incessant, and many are impressed with the amenities that are to be provided at a not-so-very-high price.

"We are expecting more than 80000 supporters at the stadium tomorrow and we are hopeful the women-folk will join their male counterparts in equal number," he said.

The tickets will be priced at Rs 1,000, said the report on the website.
