Four teenaged girls today deposed before a South 24 Parganas district court in connection with a case they had filed accusing a school teacher of molesting them.

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate of Baruipur, Himika Das Banerjee, in whose court the case was filed over a month ago, had instructed the four class VI girls to depose before her.

Five girls of a school at Moipeeth under Coastal Police Station had first lodged a complaint with the police in September, saying a Bengali teacher had molested them.

Later, four of them filed a case in the Baruipur ACJM's court alleging police inaction.

The accused teacher said he was being framed.
