A 25-year-old woman, who had jumped off a running train yesterday to save herself from alleged molestors, is stable and mentally strong, doctors treating her said.

"She is fine and has taken her breakfast. She is mentally strong," a doctor said.

The incident occurred last night when the woman jumped off the train near Belur station to avoid molestors when she was alone in the ladies compartment of the New Delhi-bound Janata Express.

"We are on the look-out for the culprits," a senior police official said today.

According to police, the woman, an employee of a corporate house, had tried to stave off the attackers, numbering four-five, who had snatched her purse and mobile phones.

The woman was shifted from Belur to a private healthcare speciality centre in Kolkata in a serious condition last night.
