A money-lender has gone missing from north Delhi's Burari area under mysterious circumstances, the police said today.

Naresh Dhama left his Sant Nagar house at Burari around 7 am yesterday without informing the family members, said a senior police officer, adding that he had been missing ever since.

His family members told the police that Naresh had lent Rs 7 lakh to a man who lived near his house and the borrower was refusing to repay the loan, he added.

The family members told the police that they suspected the involvement of the man in Norah's disappearance since he too had been missing for the last couple of days, the officer said.

The family members of Naresh today staged a protest outside Burari police station, alleging that the police was "not keen" on working on the case. They also blocked traffic and only after senior police officials assured them of action, dispersed, he added.
