Moneylender shot dead in Noida

The victim, Sonu Verma, of village Nangla Charandas had a jewellery shop at Bhangel and was also a moneylender

His relatives told the police that last night around 9 PM. Sonu had received a call from a person whom he had loaned money. Sonu was asked to come to the village and collect the interest amount.

After he reached there, an argument erupted between the two sides and Sonu was shot. He died on the spot.

The body has been sent for post mortem, police said.

His relatives have lodged an FIR against two suspects and police have launched a manhunt. Other persons too were being questioned by police to identify the assailants.
