Monorail services here came to a halt for almost two hours this evening due to voltage fluctuation as the city's transport system suffered a second power-related disruption in a month.
"Monorail stopped for one and half hours from 6.30pm to 8 pm due to voltage fluctuation throughout alignment. All trains were at stations at that time," Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority ( MMRDA) said in a statement.
An official from the state-run authority, which implemented the project, said as the trains were at the stations no passenger was hurt.
