Light to moderate rainfall lashed Kota, Ajmer, Jaipur and Udaipur divisions since yesterday while the weather remained mainly dry in the remaining areas, according to Met department here.
Nagar and Hindoli each recorded 8 CM rainfall while other places received 1 to 7 CM rainfall till morning today.
However, several other parts remained under the grip of heat with Churu recording a maximum of 44.5 degree Celsius followed by Sri Ganganagar at 44.4 degrees.
The day temperature in other areas was registered between 29.4 degree Celsius to 41.8 degree Celsius.
The Met office has forecast light rainfall at a few places in Eastern parts and at isolated places in Western parts of the state during the next 24 hours.
