The Karnataka cabinet today decided to hold monsoon legislature session from June 29 to July 24 at both Belagavi and Bengaluru.
The session of Assembly and Council will be held from June 29 to July 10 in Belagavi and from July 13 to 24 here, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister T B Jayachandra told reporters.
The cabinet also decided to approve a project plan prepared by the Populous Design Pvt Ltd, Australia, for the development work of intentional convention centre adjacent to Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru.

"We have now said that land up to 50 acres can be utilised from 35 acres earlier," Jayachandra said.
Cabinet has also given administrative approval for the construction of backward class Morarji Desai Residential School Complex at Hettur village in Hassan District at a revised cost of Rs 588.96 lakh.
Government has recommended to the President the name of K Bhaktavatsala, a retired High Court judge to be appointed as the judicial member Chairman to the Karnataka Administrative Tribunal.
Stating that 60 to 70 per cent of the work on Gulbarga airport has been completed, Jayachandra said state government has decided to complete the left over work through PWD department and then hand it over to the Airport authority for maintenance.
