"Devotees from across the country and abroad visit the temple to offer obeisance. May the Lord bless everyone and Jharkhand be proactive on the path of development," Munda said after an online inauguration of the fest.

Munda, who on May 9 escaped miraculously along with his wife and four others in a helicopter accident, promised providing maximum facilities to the devotees, setting up a queue complex at the temple premises and constructing an airport to put the temple town on the map of international tourism.

A spectacular light and sound show would also be set up in Deogarh, he said.
