Barring thoor dal prices which moved up, prices of moong dal, gram dal, sugar and wheat moved down while other commodities prices ruling steady on the opening day in the wholesale foodgrain market here.
On the opening day moong dal prices fell by Rs.500 per quintal to Rs.10,000 from its previous rates of Rs.10,500
Gram dal decreased by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.5,700 from Rs.5,800.

Sugar was less by Rs.150 per quintal to Rs.2,450 from its closing rates of Rs.2,600.
Wheat was down marginally by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.2,800 from Rs.2,850.
The lone thoor dal was up by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.10,800 from its closing rates of Rs.10,700.
Urad dal (Rs.10,500),Maida (90 kg) (Rs.2,400) and Sooji (90 kg)(Rs.3000).
