Moral education to be taught in Haryana

Haryana government today said it would include moral education as part of the curriculum in all government schools across the state from the next academic session, starting on April 1.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Education Department presided over by State Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma.

Sharma said a campaign, 'Swachh Prangan, Sanskari Shiksha', would soon be launched in all educational institutions of the state.

He said that Principals of schools which recorded pass percentage of below five per cent in examinations of Classes 10 and 10 plus two have been called to 'Shiksha Sadan' on January 22.
