Moratorium on loans availed by endosulfan victims

The Kerala government today announced a three-month moratorium on loans availed by endosulphan victims of Kasaragod and farmers in Wayanad.

A three-month moratorium has been announced for all the loans taken by the endosulfan victims. A decision in this regard was taken at today's cabinet meeting, a government press release said.

The state government also announced the moratorium for the loans availed by Wayanad farmers.

The cabinet has decided that all revenue recovery proceedings with respect to endosulfan victims and Wayanad farmers be stopped during the three-month period, the release added.
