Puducherry Corporation for Development of Backward Classes and Minorities proposed to disburse an additional Rs two crore during the current fiscal, taking the total sanctions to Rs 13 crore to encourage self-employment projects.
Minister for Backward Classes P.R.Siva told reporters here today that already the corporation had disbursed Rs 11 crores for the backward classes and minorities to start self employment projects.
He also said the corporation will hold an exhibition cum sale of products made by the beneficiaries for ten days here from tomorrow.
