More than the common man, politicians will be hard-hit by the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes, BJP national secretary H Raja said here today.
Without elaborating, he told reporters that it will have a "limited effect" on the poor and common man due to the sudden announcement, but it will have a "larger impact" on politicians.
Stating that the decision was announced to "improve and stabilise the country's economy", Raja said there was no point in approaching the court against such a drive, particularly for "some politicians".
