A record 1.25 lakh persons have visited the three-day flower show, which concluded here today.
The 120th Annual Flower Show is a major attraction during summer holidays and tourists, both domestic and foreign used to visit the show.
This time the Horticulture Department had created a replica Chennai Central Station with over one lakh coronation, which was the cynosure of all the eyes.

The Nilgiris District Collector P Shankar, who visited the show at the sprawling Govenrment Botanica Gardens told reporters that this year there was record number of visitors, crossing 1.25 lakh, till three PM today.
This is 40,000 more than the last year and the number could increase, as visitors are allowed upto seven PM, he said, adding that the detail of gate collection will be available after that .
The Chief Minister's Rolling Trophy was awarded fo DSSC, Wellington, who have put up a flower stall and a total of 640 trophies were given to the participants.
