Veteran Hollywood star Morgan Freeman is offering fans the chance to challenge him in a game of golf to raise money for underprivileged schoolchildren.

The 76-year-old 'Shawshank Redemption' star is auctioning off a round of golf with him.

It will be followed by an intimate lunch in Los Angeles and a photo opportunity so the lucky winner can remember their special day, reported E! online.

Freeman hopes to raise over USD 10,000 for the Communities In Schools projects which places adult professionals in schools to provide extra help and support for children.
