The mortal remains of three of the 11 Indians killed in a fire in Saudi city of Najran last week have been buried in that country as per wishes of their families, the External Affairs Ministry said today.

The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia is making arrangements to bring back mortal remains of the remaining eight at the earliest, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay told reporters.

Five Indians were also injured in the fire on July 12 that had ripped through a windowless house where the Indian workers were staying.

Baglay said two of them, Mohammed Sadik and Mushahid Raja, were discharged from the hospital while three others were still undergoing treatment.

He said the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia was ensuring best possible medical treatment to them.
