The objectives of the tour include understanding the area and its concerns in a better way by observing the ground situation, a Home Ministry spokesperson said.
Singh will devise ways to coordinate, improve and expedite development activities in the region and enhance job opportunities for the local population.
He would also try to reach out to the people, especially the tribal population, and give a healing touch to them.
The Minister would review the development works being undertaken in the region on account of various central government schemes being implemented by the state government and the Central Armed Police Forces.
