Prices of moth and arhar moved up by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale market today on mild demand from retailers against limited arrivals from producing belts.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in restricted deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said some demand from retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to the rise in moth and arhar prices.
In the national capital, moth moved up by Rs 50 to Rs 5,350-5,650, while arhar and its dal dara variety enquired higher by the same margin to Rs 4,950-5,050 and Rs 6,250-6,550 per quintal, respectively.
