Moth prices edged higher by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on rising demand against restricted supplies from producing belts.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides rising demand, restricted supplies from producing regions strengthened moth prices.
In the national capital, moth rose further by Rs 50 to Rs 4,850-5,150 per quintal.
On the other hand, rajmah chitra lacked necessary follow up support and eased by Rs 100 to Rs 7,200-10,700 per quintal.
