A 40-year-old woman and her 18-year-old daughter were found murdered with several stab wounds on their bodies at their residence in Tilak Nagar in west Delhi, with police suspecting the hand of an insider.
The incident came to light at 7.30 last evening when some neighbours spotted the woman's son Jaspal coming out of his house in an injured state, police said today.
"Sensing that something was amiss, neighbours rushed inside the house and found Jasbeer and Prabhajot lying in a pool of blood. The trio was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared Jasbeer and Prabhajot dead," said a senior police officer.

Officer said the trio was attacked with knives.
"As per initial investigation, it seems that an insider committed the crime as police did not found any sign of forced entry into the house. Police are also scanning the footage of CCTV installed in the nearby area to identify the accused," the officer said.
"We are interrogating the neighbours," the officer said.
