A woman and her 12-year-old son were killed while three of her family members injured when a truck collided with their car in Kiratpur area here, police said today.
The accident took place on Bijnor-Najibabad road, when Pankaj, a chemist based in Ramraj area here, along with his family was returning from Rishikesh, they said.
They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where Anupam(42)and Mayank were declared dead while her husband Pankaj, daughter Khushi and nephew Digvijay were seriously injured in the accident, they said.
The injured were later referred to Meerut.
