A mother-son duo was arrested from Mahilpur town area here for allegedly killing a teacher, who had objected to the harassment of his daughter.
Amit Kumar alias Bali, and his mother Bhagwanti were held for killing teacher Vijay Kumar (55) in the Mahilpur area on September 11, police said.
Amit used to harass Vijay's daughter, following which the girl along with her father had made a complaint with the Mahilpur police station.
Officials of the Mahilpur police station had called both the parties.
When Vijay along with his daughter and some persons reached near the police station gate, Amit and his mother picked up a quarrel with them, police said.
Amit allegedly punched on Vijay's chest, which lead to his death, they added.
