A mother-son duo was shot dead allegedly by four persons in retaliation to the murder of a 29-year-old youth Gorakhpur district, police said today.
One Prem Dubey was shot dead allegedly by Rinku Pandey and three others yesterday following a dispute over money, police said.
The kin of the deceased and his three accomplices then shot dead Rinku's 35-year-old brother Rishikesh Pandey and mother Sohawati Devi (65) late in the night, police said.
FIRs have been filed in connection with both the cases and efforts were on to nab them, police added.
