Motherson board to meet next week to evaluate fund-raising

Auto component major Motherson Sumi Systems today said its board will meet next week to evaluate various fund-raising options.

"A meeting of the board of directors will be held on August 3 to discuss and evaluate the various fund-raising options including capital issuance," Motherson Sumi Systems said in a BSE filing.

The company, however, did not disclose further details.

Motherson Sumi Systems is the flagship company of the Samvardhana Motherson Group. It was established in 1986 in joint partnership with Japan's Sumitomo Wiring Systems.

Its broad business portfolio includes wiring harnesses, mirrors for passenger car, injection moulded products, modules including dashboards, door trims, bumpers, blow moulded components and machined metal components.
