The body will arrive in Delhi from Argentina tomorrow morning and it reach Chennai in the afternoon, before reaching his native village Gandhi Janasangam in the evening, a state government release said, adding that Mastan Babu's sister Malli Dorasanamma is accompanying the mortal remains, the release said.

The funeral would be conducted with official honours, Andhra Pradesh Information and NRI Affairs Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy said, in the release.

Babu, who had set a record of climbing seven summits, left for Argentina towards the end of March. He was untraceable later and was soon found dead in the mountains of Argentina.
