The principal photography of "Tiger", inspired by the story of Pardeep Nagra, a Sikh who was barred from the sport of boxing because he refused to shave his beard, is underway in Cincinnati, Hamilton.
Actor Mickey Rourke has joined the cast of "Tiger" opposite Janel Parrish ('Pretty Little Liars') and Prem Singh (known for 2011 movie 'Breakaway') in the title role, reported Variety.
Nagra was able to compete after going to court.
Alister Grierson directs from a screenplay by Michael Pugliese and Singh. The film is co-financed by R3M Productions, Omnia Entertainment and Starruner Entertainment.
